About Lisa

Lisa Bettini Moro is a degreed physical fitness professional with over 35 years’ experience correcting and training bodies. She is the former founder and owner of PACE Pilates in Phoenix and is extensively trained in two international Pilates methods and exercise for injury and degenerative conditions.

In 2018, following a difficult time in her life, Lisa healed herself of years of chronic pain in mere weeks by studying the role of the nervous system in chronic pain and making lifestyle changes to rebalance hers and change her life.  Now a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach, Lisa works with clients on staying healthy and pain-free in our modern world and is a regular speaker and presenter on the topics of nutrition, exercise and healthy nervous system habits.

For over 15 years, her effective PACE (Pilates And Corrective Exercise) approach has helped countless clients referred from physical therapists get out of pain and back to fitness. Her unique skill at adapting typical repertoire and creating Pilates sessions that are safe and challenging for clients limited by spinal conditions, injury or age has set her apart from other teachers in the industry, resulting in a year-round waiting list for her sessions. But now anyone can subscribe to Lisa’s video library and benefit from her PACE approach to correct, condition, and change their lifestyle anytime to get out of pain and back to their best fitness and health!

The PACE Approach

PACE stands for Pilates And Corrective Exercise

My PACE approach was developed over 24 years of experience, education and working with clients in my studio referred to me by physical therapists. Now you can use my video library anytime you want- no appointment necessary! Enjoy! Lisa
1.
Correct your body first.

Use videos in this section for short exercise programs to correct common misalignments, postural imbalances, and targeted injury areas prior to your Pilates workout. Your body functions better using proper alignment and muscle firing patterns, allowing a more effective workout. I place a heavy emphasis on precise and technical instruction, so you know you’re doing the exercises correctly. I recommend always starting with my Trunk and Pelvis Check & Correct video when you go into pain or on a regular basis to stay in great alignment for core conditioning. Empower yourself!

2. Condition with the right workout for you.

If you’ve had a spinal degenerative condition, injury, surgery, low-back or neck issues, or lack spinal mobility due to age, choose from my signature PACE workout videos. These are my specially programmed Pilates sessions focusing on deep spinal stabilization to decrease pain and are safe for anyone to train effectively. If you can perform the greater ranges of spinal motion in typical Pilates mat work with no restrictions, and just want a challenging workout to enjoy the mastery of Pilates, choose from my Pilates Repertoire videos. Most workouts will be around 30 minutes because I know you’re busy. Level 1 for beginners, Level 2 for intermediate to advanced. Go for it!

3. Change your lifestyle habits to make the biggest impact on your health and fitness.
Getting out of chronic pain takes supporting your physical training with the right lifestyle choices to change your overall biology for mental and emotional wellness. As a Holistic Health Coach, I read the latest research and bring it to you with easy ideas as to what you can change in your habits of nutrition, exercise, and fostering a healthy nervous system so you can live pain-free all the time. Good doctors and health professionals know that avoiding unnecessary aging and chronic health issues in our modern environment takes an integrated approach to lifestyle, rather than relying solely on medical intervention. My health coaching videos help you do this every day and keep you on track to look, feel and live at your best!

Enjoy!
